Brokerage Fee Disclosure: EDTC charges a transaction brokerage fee of 1.0–1.5% on the gross transaction value of each physical commodity trade effectively brokered and concluded through the EDTC Digital Marketplace. This fee covers marketplace facilitation and merchant verification services. Brokerage fees are calculated and invoiced separately from membership fees and are subject to VAT at the applicable rate for your jurisdiction (standard rate 23% in Portugal). The exact brokerage fee tier applied to your trades depends on your membership level (Basic 1.5%, Standard 1.3–1.4%, Premium 1.0–1.2%). Bridge Workforce Capacity Building with Verified International Trade Facilitation
The European Digital Trade Center (EDTC) integrates enterprise workforce upskilling through our Learning Management System (LMS) with direct commercial execution on our Digital B2B Marketplace.
In alignment with EU eFTI Regulation 2020/1056, trading privileges on our marketplace are qualification-gated. To list products, export consignments, or access B2B trade facilitation services, participating businesses and transport operators must complete mandatory prerequisite compliance courses (such as the Introductory Course on Digital Logistics, which discusses EU eFTI Standards and Customs Regulations). Upon earning your digital completion certificate, your company receives verified vendor status, automated EU VIES EORI/VAT validation, eIDAS Qualified Electronic Signature (XAdES-PES) orchestration, and automated eFTI JSON-LD data payload generation for seamless port clearance.
